Originally from Bridgewater, NJ, Stacy participated in the Bridgewater-Raritan High School marching band and indoor guard from 2003-2007. She attended West Chester University where she marched in the band from 2008-2011 and graduated in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics with a minor in Exercise Science. Independent marching experience includes Jersey Surf Drum and Bugle Corps 2006-2009, Phantom Regiment 2010-2011 and Black Watch Indoor Guard 2009-2010 and 2012-2015. Stacy has taught at Radnor High School, Jersey Surf Drum & Bugle Corps, Bridgewater-Raritan High School, and Haverford High School.
Shannon is an Assistant Vice President of Operations and Account Manager at U.S. Bank in Philadelphia, PA. She went to school at Bridgewater Raritan High School in Bridgewater, NJ, where she marched the winter guard from 2006-2010 and the marching band from 2006-2009. She then went to West Chester University where she graduated in 2014 with a degree in Mathematical Finance and a minor in Finance. While there, she marched The West Chester University Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band from 2010-2014. During this time she also marched the Jersey Surf Drum Corps in 2011, The Phantom Regiment Drum Corps in 2013, and the Black Watch Independent World winter guard from 2011-2014. She currently teaches the West Chester University color guard.
Eliza is a Technical Designer at Lilly Pulitzer in King of Prussia, PA. She went to school at Radnor High School in Radnor, PA. While there, she marched the winter guard from 2005-2009 and the marching band from 2005-2008. She then went to Drexel University where she graduated in 2013 with a degree in Fashion Design.
Tyler is the Communications Associate at the Center for Health Care Strategies in Hamilton, NJ. He graduated from Southern Regional High School in 2014 where he participated in the marching band from 2010-2013 and joined winter guard in 2014. Following high school, he attended West Chester University and graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies and a minor in International Business. He was a member of the the West Chester University Marching Band from 2014-2016 and joined the color guard staff in 2017. Tyler was also a member of the Black Watch Independent World winter guard in 2015, Field of View Independent World winter guard in 2016, The Cadets Drum Corps in 2016, The Cadets 2 in 2016, and Alter Ego Independent World winter guard in 2017. He had the opportunity to design and teach Radnor’s HS winter guard from 2021-2023 and currently teaches West Chester University’s color guard.
Joey currently works as an assistant buyer for men’s shoes at Burlington. Originally from Columbus, NJ, he attended Northern Burlington High School, where he participated in the marching band and indoor color guard from 2012-2016. After high school, he attended West Chester University and participated in the band from 2016-2019 and graduated in 2021. Independent indoor seasons include Main Line Independent 2017, Pennsauken Independent 2018, and Main Line Independent 2020. He has also directed West Chester East High School winter guard in 2018 and 2019 and Radnor winter guard 2020-2023.
Emily is a Clinical Dietitian at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. She is from Downingtown, PA, where she was a member of the Downingtown East High School marching band from 2008-2012 and indoor guard from 2012-2013. Emily attended West Chester University where she was a member of the WCU color guard from 2014-2016 and graduated in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. She then continued her education at WCU and graduated in 2019 with a Master’s degree in Community Nutrition. Emily’s independent marching experience includes Field of View A 2014-2015, Hawthorne Caballeros 2015-2016, and Main Line Independent 2017. Emily taught at Garnet Valley High School in Glen Mills, PA from 2014-2020 and Main Line Independent in 2020.
Rob comes from Horsham, PA where he started his career in the marching arts world – not with a rifle – but with a trumpet. After graduating from Hatboro-Horsham High School (’08-’11) in 2012, Rob continued his marching career with the West Chester University Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band (’12-’14) before putting down the trumpet in 2015. Having spent four summers marching DCI (Jersey Surf ’12-’13; The Cavaliers ’14-’15), Rob was in need of a new challenge and outlet after aging out – enter, Main Line Independent (’16). Rob is excited to spend another year with Main Line Independent and bring his eye for detail to the floor to help make the program special!
Kimmy is a lead toddler teacher at Life Discovery School in Springfield, PA. She began her color guard career at Springfield High School, participating in both the marching band and winter guard programs. After high school Kimmy attended West Chester University where she graduated in 2013. While there she was a member of the Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band for 5 years, two of which she served as captain. Her other marching experience includes Jersey Surf Drum Corps (2007-2008, 2010-2013), Field of View Winter Guard (2010-2014), and The Black Watch Winter Guard (2015-2019). She also teaches Penncrest High School, The Black Watch winter guard, and The Jersey Surf color guard.
Kirby is a Strategist at a healthcare marketing agency based in Philadelphia, PA. She graduated from Abington Senior High School in Abington, PA after 5 years in the marching band and indoor color guard programs. Her independent marching career included the Corpsmen Drum and Bugle Corps (2011, 2012, and 2014), Carolina Crown (2015), Field of View World (2014-2015), Cadets Winter Percussion (2016), and a few late-season stints on the field with the Bushwackers Drum and Bugle Corps in 2019 and 2021. Kirby has been teaching color guard since 2013 with programs such as Abington Senior High School, Hatboro-Horsham High School, Upper Moreland High School, and most recently The Black Watch and Bushwackers Drum and Bugle Corps. She is also in her 6th year on the visual staff at United Percussion.
Joe is an occupational therapist who works in early intervention for Dynamicare Therapy in Philadelphia, PA. He attended West Chester University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Joe then attended Thomas Jefferson University for a Master’s in Occupational Therapy. Joe’s marching experience includes Upper Moreland indoor color guard (2012-2014), Field of View A (2015), West Chester University marching band (2015 and 2017), Field of View World (2016-2017), and the Reading Buccaneers (2015 and 2019). Joe was a staff member for Methacton High School (2018) and Phoenixville High School (2019-2023).
Kate is an Outpatient Physical Therapist at Good Shepherd Penn Partners. She attended Drexel University and received her Bachelors Degree in Health Sciences in 2011 before becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2016 through the University of the Sciences. Marching experience includes Archbishop Wood 2003-2007, Reading Buccaneers 2012 & 2017 and Black Watch Indoor Guard 2011-2012. Kate currently teaches the Abington High School Colorguard and has taught the Abington Drumline, Neshaminy High School Color Guard, and Archbishop Wood Junior Guard in the past.
Sarah is the assistant to the Chief Financial Officer and Facilities for the Upper Moreland School District in Upper Moreland, PA. She attended high school at Upper Moreland, where she was a part of the color guard from 2013-2018. Sarah then went on to attend West Chester University, where she participated in the marching band for the 2018 and 2019 seasons, graduating in 2022 with a degree in anthropology. She also marched independently with Main Line Independent from 2019-2023. Currently, she is the assistant color guard director at Upper Moreland High School.
Emily is the Marketing Coordinator for Women’s Animal Center in Bensalem, PA. She graduated from Penncrest High School where she was a member of the marching band and indoor color guard from 2012-2016. She then went on to attend West Chester University and was a member of the Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band for five years before graduating in 2020 with a degree in Communication Studies and Political Science. Emily spent six years as a member of Main Line Independent from 2017-2022 and has run the MLI social media pages since 2019. She currently teaches the Upper Merion High School and Methacton High School color guards.
Melissa is the Owner/President at Twisted Traditions in Manchester, PA. She went to school at C.D. East High School in Harrisburg, PA. She then went to Hood College where she graduated with a degree in Business Administration, minor in Finance. Through the years she has assisted with the 2011-2015 Camp Hill Winterguard, the 2011-2012 C.D. East Marching Band, and the 2016-2022 Radnor Indoor Guard.
Sarah is the CDL Transportation Assistant at Messiah Lifeways in Mechanicsburg, PA. She went to school at Red Land High School. Through the years, she has run down many hallways and across many gyms helping Main Line, and has been on board since 2022.
