About US
Main Line Independent is an Independent Open Class winterguard based out of Delaware County, PA. Founded in 2015, MLI competed for the first time in the 2016 season. Over the years, MLI has been home to over 100 performers from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, and Maryland. In 2023, Main Line Independent was a WGI Independent Open Class Finalist, coming in 13th place.
Main Line Independent competes locally in the Mid-Atlantic Indoor Network (MAIN), attending championships in Trenton, NJ. MLI also competes internationally in Winter Guard International (WGI), attending championships in Dayton, OH.
Our History
2024 marks MLI’s ninth year in competition. We are proud to have a rich history of diverse, crowd-pleasing programs.
Member Protection
Performer safety is our top priority. Main Line Independent adheres to all WGI and MAIN policies, and all Main Line Independent staff members are certified through the US Center for SafeSport.
